Proprietary UNIX is What We'll Have If IBM Red Hat Gets Its Way

IBM Red Hat is pushing Wayland. Ready or not ready, here it comes!! But the real aim is to not only kill "X" (killx or xkill) but all of its forks. One way or another, even social engineering. That will be a problem for the BSDs (they recognise this problem and say out loud what Red Hat is doing).
At the same time IBM Red Hat is killing Fedora (not much left of the community [1, 2], it's just IBM staff or IBM Red Hat staff formally rebranded as just "IBM" this year) and killing CentOS, except in name.
IBM Red Hat wants to control everything, even if that means killing everybody.
Rewriting all the important components in Rust with MIT licence (in GitHub, what else???) helps Microsoft's and IBM's proprietary agenda.
They see this as a zero-sum game. As we put it yesterday, "IBM is Not a Free Software Company (It Never Was)".
Microsoft Canonical already treats Ubuntu like a blob to be sold or "licensed" (fee per copy).
Stay vigilant. AK (IBM CEO) and MS (Mark Shuttleworth) are likely billionaires not because they invented something. They plunder things. █
