Reminder That "Linux" in the Site's Name (and Domain) Does Not Imply Authentic Journalism About GNU/Linux
Today I spent some time catching up with RSS feeds. It was a reminder of the sad fact that some once-legitimate sites became slopfarms.
Today (once again) we only see LLM slop by Sloppy Borisov at Linuxiac:


And slop by Brittany Day at LinuxSecurity:

And... also by George Whittaker at Slashdot Media's Linux Journal, which basically became a slopfarm:

Just because the site says "Linux" and used to be a real news site doesn't mean it still is. Maybe they became sloppy, slobby and lazy... in turn trying to run it by "bots" or "agents" (just another buzzword), somehow expecting a positive outcome. █
