The Grapevine Says IBM's American RAs (Mass Layoffs) Soon to Follow European RAs, PIPs and "Reviews" as Pretext for a Likely Baseless Dismissal

An hour ago: (Denver)

A week ago: (Red Hat)

On IBM layoffs we've said as recently as this morning that "some time next month or in March we'll show information we got about (and from) IBM" and Red Hat.
In the afternoon we mentioned how "Red Hat folks feel inside Big Blue" (amid layoffs done silently in the traditionally discreet, covert, clandestine IBM way).
"Wow," someone said a short while ago, "next wave [of layoffs] is already starting?"
"The surplus people are marked for elimination and that would continue as long as the employers can artificially prop the stock price up without creating any real value," someone replied. "Yup," said another, and a wave (of layoffs) "should hit the states by spring"...
Some people inquire about how PIPs or reviews get weaponised for silent RAs. "It’s before" the layoff, someone has just explained. "They use this as an artificial pretext and justification to fire you. It sets it up."
As we showed this morning, GAFAM does the same. The days of honourable corporations and work ethics are long gone it seems... █
