Details on IBM Layoffs in the EU Last Week, Same Allegedly Coming to the US Shortly

2 days ago we published 3 posts about IBM layoffs in the EU or in Europe [1, 2, 3]. "Around 50 people affected in Belgium," somebody has since then said, with apparently more coming to the US soon (in PIP form, probably no severance to be expected):

Few years back, I was interested in joining IBM cloud organization. I had an interview with an Indian manager. She kept discouraging me from joining the organization (I am not Indian). When, I contacted a couple of engineers (non Indians), they confirmed my suspicion. IBM US cloud was an Indians tribe. There are few other IBM US organizations that are Indians tribes.
