The New Site ("New Techrights", SSG Since 2023) Exceeds the Old Site in Requests
"Hit" refers to actual page, not image or RSS feed or whatever.

The "New Techrights" gets about twice as many requests as the "old" (WordPress) "Techrights", the site of 2006-2023. We can see this by crafting some new Bash scripts and leveraging R. Our aim isn't to spy on readers; aggregate numbers (for number of pages requested) help us understand how we grew from thousands of page requests per day (in 2006) to over 100,000 per day.
We have a large "catalogue" of pages and we add about 7,000 new ones per year. Our archives (old pages) are what some companies and people dread the most; this site is very prominent online, even in searches (but we have our own search facility; we need not rely on third parties like Google). █
