Mobbing at the European Patent Office (EPO) - Part II - Racism, Cocaine Use and White-Collar Corruption
When you put people in charge who casually use illegal drugs, do you expect them to obey the laws/rules/guidelines of an institution?
When you put people in charge of an institution meant to deal with legal matters, do you expect them to uphold and protect laws? Or to actively break the law to silence people who attempt to speak of the Rule of Law?
When you hire people illegally, to work for cocaine users and keep quite about the cocaine use, what will be the impact on the reputation of an institution?
Welcome to EPO. It's run by what many insiders call "Mafia" and some people have dubbed "Alicante Mafia" because of its origins (the President came from there and then stacked the EPO with his mates, never mind if they lacked qualifications/experience).
In Part I we gave a little introduction and clues as to what comes next. That was a day after the first EPO strike of this year (there will be another one later this month and next month too).
Racism at the EPO is something that EPO management says won't be tolerated. But of course EPO management is exempted; it can be the biggest racist in the Office or in Munich; that won't matter as they're immune (they inherit diplomatic immunity from the ringleader of the Mafia). Will what Germany do about this?
Cocaine use also. Why does Germany tolerate cocaine use by rich people who run institutions entrusted to deal with law?
Corruption aside, what happens at the EPO right now discredits the EU and Germany. Won't they come to realise this?
We encourage Europeans to contact their national or EU politicians throughout this series. Someone needs to break the silence and air these issues in national assembly/ies or European Parliament. █
