Seems Like IBM Trolls Use Chatbots to Vandalise Platform That Discusses IBM's Secret Layoffs, Forever Layoffs
Not for the first time either, we covered many other examples last year (eventually thelayoff.com started culling the culprits, shortly after we had complained about this problem)

People respond (wasting time after efforts to waste time or rile up people/emotions):

thelayoff.com would zap entire threads for merely naming some manager or for "sounding" racist. But LLM slop and/or trolling is OK?
Typically the goal is to offload something off-putting, distracting/detracting from the rest, or to make regular visitors/casual posters lose interest in the site (disgust or lessening of readers-base). It's a known, widely-recognised corporate AstroTurfing tactic.
Let's see how long it takes thelayoff.com to notice; they delete so many innocuous comments (honest opinions), but not slop? █
