Last month: In Africa's Second-Largest Nation, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), GNU/Linux Jumped to 4% This Year

DRC is a lot larger than most people realise:

India is about 1.4 times bigger than Democratic Republic of the Congo.

In the Democratic Republic Of The Congo, this month (and year) we see considerable gains for GNU/Linux and it seems to have started (modest increases) around "end of Vista 10":
