What I wrote back then (and therein) actually aged well because Android was taking over and soon thereafter everyone could see there were many Android (Linux) tablets in stores full of "Windows PCs". That the crooks and criminals from Microsoft attacked Nokia only months later (early 2011 first shot fired by Microsoft's Elop, installed by Microsoft in late 2010) does not disprove what was published back then. In 2010 Windows was very dominant because Android was very new and not people could find a phone with it (Windows as a brand had its presence in some phones, unlike now - Microsoft has 0% "market share"). Also, not many were interested in (or could afford) a so-called 'smart' 'phone' like Apple's iPhone. Blackberry was already weak and dying.
Reddit is Social Control Media and not a serious discussion site/forum. Like Y Combinator (YC) filters, e.g. 'Hacker' 'News', the aim is to generally promote GAFAM agenda and weed out 'weird' people who speak about real security, computing freedom etc.
Reddit is not better than X.com, except it's controlled by different masters to serve a different kind of agenda. █
