Free Software Foundation (FSF) Raised About 1.5 Million Dollars This Winter, Almost 50% More Than in All of 2024 Combined
The figure below is current; not counting corporate patrons, about $900,000 in non-conventional currencies etc. it's at about $600,000 already:

$600,000 + $900,000 + patrons = ?* (depends on unknown variables)
Compare to latest year on IRS records:

It seems like the FSF is making somewhat of a comeback. Even FSF-hostile sites had many comments in the past 24 hours saying that "RMS was right" or "warned about this decades ago" (link omitted; the context was "Ring").
FSF staff should be aware that the FSF makes a real difference and its importance (or criticality) is growing as a function of technology becoming more oppressive. Verbal advocacy goes a long way. It spreads ideas. Powerful ideas. RMS is an excellent speaker.
The reason there are quite a few copycats is, they try to impersonate the real thing to raise cash for themselves. █
