Typical SRA template:

An application to the SRA's compensation fund to recover the money has so far only resulted in an automatic reply, which said it could be up to 10 weeks before a case worker looks at his application.

As we put it days ago, the "Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Responds to Crises Only After It's Way Too Late" (justice delayed is justice denied and they don't even pursue justice at all, they only pretend to in order to meet "quotas").

It seems fair to conclude that hired guns are in effect unregulated in the UK. The oversight is theoretical at best. █
