New XBox CEO Typecast in Social Control Media
After a bizarre and controversial XBox appointment many expressed dismay and disdain while others simply pointed out that the CEO isn't even speaking about games, she is a bot and Microsoft uses a chatbot for communication (or PR people who 'field' that account to manage/supervise the PR/branding angle/aspects). We did some research into this and checked the little "tweets" which exist; it's hard to verify a chatbot produced these (replies included), but no doubt they're dubious, shallow, cheesy, and inconsistent. She wrote only 2 tweets (not replies) since the prepared puff pieces of Friday at 9PM. Here they are:
Microsoft apologists will fall back on (or shuffle between) the "racist" and "sexist" angle/card, making weak references to "Gamergate" and other such stuff. But the core issue is, what we have here is a slop pusher with no relevant 'pedigree' or experience being put in charge of something not even remotely connected.
We saw this before at Microsoft...
This means Microsoft isn't serious about a XBox recovery or a future for the XBox franchise. █
