Envy is the #1 Enemy of Richard Stallman
Richard Stallman, based on my intuition, is not a jealous guy. This man does not signal jealousy, nor should he in his age and health condition. It's not like he wants or needs your Lamborghini. That does not interest him.
To Dr. Stallman, the main threat is other people's jealousy. The crab mentality. Many people want to replace him and to generally "take him down", dethrone him as the de facto spokesperson of the movement that he himself started.
Richard Stallman will be fine. He'll very soon turn 73 and we understand he plans to give more talks in the US. His last talk was a great success that resulted in many articles, not just an audience of thousands (online).
He didn't need to spend a single cent or a penny to advertise his talk.
Whenever you see someone mocking Richard Stallman, ask yourself: does this person have a reason to be jealous of Richard Stallman? Very often the answer turns out to be... yes!
Dr. Stallman is not a jealous person; the problem isn't him but some the people around him, the vultures. █
