Priceless leaks found in crowdfunding campaign

Various people have asked if the target for the crowdfunding campaign is too high. The second threshold, $1,000,000, will unlock the emails of the FSFE misfits.

This one email is worth $500,000 alone. It also helps understand why they have to be called misfits:

Hi,

Gold price has changed in a range of 20% within the last year, and in the 3 years from 2012 to 2015, for example, it has lost 1/3 of its value. Silver is even worse: if you bought Silver mid 2012, by the end of 2015 it was worth less than half of what you paid.
I do not consider it a good idea to put FSFE's money into such a volatile investment.

According to the charts, we had found the bottom of the market and it would have been a very good time to buy:

silver, FSFE, bequest, incompetence, misfits

Due to their racism problems, they couldn't listen and they left the money in a bank account. Later, they admitted losing money.

They received a bequest of EUR 150,000 from a fellow who died in 2016.

According to historical price data, on 25 May 2017, the gold price was EUR 1,122.39 per ounce and the silver price was EUR 14.90 per ounce.

Today, 26 February 2026, the price of gold is EUR 4,395.34 per ounce and silver is EUR 74.83 per ounce.

The return on gold is 392 percent. The return on silver is 502 percent.

If the FSFE misfits had put the full bequest into gold they would now have EUR 587,408. If they put it in silver it would be worth EUR 753,322.

That is an annual rate of return of 15.6 percent for gold and 18.45 percent for silver.

Remember they didn't even deserve the money in the first place. Somebody was tricked by the similarity between the names of the real FSF and the fake FSFE misfits.

In Australia, people still find gold and silver bullion in nature.

I was right about bullion. Have a close look at my comments about Bitcoins and decide if I might be right again.
