Madame Streisand Wanted to Censor The Web, Instead She 'Created' a New Term, "Streisand Effect"
The people who attack tuxmachines.org love using similarweb.com as an authoritative source regarding "analytics" (we'll rebut this one day), but no matter if one checks tuxmachines.org or news.tuxmachines.org, there is growing interest in the site and attacks on the site (they've already attempted several forms of attacks this year, including social engineering) merely serve to show the importance of the site. They make its community stronger and bring together the teams involved. It is basically an own goal.
See, just like Microsoft, these people don't seem to understand what the Streisand Effect is or how it works. █
