EPO Staff to 'Meet' This Coming Tuesday to Plan Industrial Actions Including Upcoming Strikes

Central Staff Committee (CSC) strike

Yesterday morning we mentioned the Local Staff Committee Munich (LSCMN) inviting staff to a videoconference where they will discuss impending plans.

Similar communications were sent us by the Local Staff Committee The Hague (LSCTH), which told staff:

Invitation to a General Meeting of staff - Tuesday 10 March, 11.00 hrs - Salary Adjustment Procedure

Dear colleagues,

Ahead of the Administrative Council meeting on 18-19 March, we warmly invite you to the third General Assembly this year of the Local Staff Committee The Hague:

Tuesday 10 March, 11.00 hrs
Join the meeting on MSTeams
Add the Outlook invitation to your calendar

Provisional agenda

First of all, we thank you for your continued efforts towards the industrial actions against the salary erosion. The second warning strike of February 2023 evidenced the continued motivation of staff to push pressure on the Administration to stop the cuts, with 1 507 staff members participating, almost reaching the level of the January strike with 1 577 participants.

We now have less than two weeks until the meeting of the AC where they will give their opinions on the plan of the Office to intensify our salary and pension erosion. We ask that you contribute as much as possible to the work-to-rule action and to participate in the third warning strike on the second day of the AC meeting, March 19th.

Every day of lost capacity and every reduction in products counts and gives us stronger message that we will not continue the production machine no matter what is imposed on us. Stand with your colleagues with your contribution and stay informed by joining us in the GA.

We've already remarked (several times in the distant past) that using Microsoft spyware to organise this can be an own goal because Microsoft serves the dictators, not the union that tries to topple them. It is always the dictators who send money Microsoft's way or happily receive bribed from Microsoft (in exchange for sharing budget "back" to them).

Microsoft is a foe of EPO staff and of the law itself.
