An American War on GNU/Linux, Software Freedom, and British Investigative, Science-Based Reporting - Part II - Trying to Put People in Prison for Committing the Act of Journalism

Birds of a feather flock together

In Part I we illuminated what was at stake and why it impacts everyone who uses a computer.

Today, in this second part, we thought it would be worth illuminating that the people who attack us know nothing about how Gemini works, no clue what IRC actually is, what IRC logs are (one cannot change history) etc.

They just try to delete factual old articles and then prevent publication and more factual articles. At the same time they openly boast they try to take down entire Web sites (about half a million articles/documents) and start extending their extortion tactics to whole families by doxing people totally unrelated. That is illegal. But to them, this is not about legality, it's just coercion.

This is abuse of process to censor:

1) criticism of hired guns who breached laws and repeatedly lied to several High Court judges;

2) information about an American arrested for strangling women (he worked for Microsoft);

3) hard-to-suppress and totally factual criticism of back doors; and

4) criticism of someone in America whose own spouse calls him a "rapist" and moreover disputes his security/coding claims (in my experience, he's a poser, a phony, a faker who never starts any projects probably because he is technically incapable; he currently talks about LLM-produced 'code' or slop or plagiarism 'Graveley style' - a stylist with a history of copyright issues and no formal qualifications, just bluster to compensate for an utter vacuum).

As the old saying goes, birds of a feather flock together.

That seems even more relevant today because it is International Women's Day.

I am already being sent threats by E-mail, verging on the sort of stuff I ought to relay to police, not only Members of Parliament (they demand I remove articles that mention Brett Wilson LLP and they use burner accounts).

This whole thing is surreal and, as noted above, by all indications an abuse of process.

What's their latest? Openly boasting they want to put my wife, who was abused online (the Judge accepts that), in prison. Their client boasts about this overreach which seems to indicate alleged abuses against his own spouse may be something deeply chronic and to observers would seem mentally disturbing (cruelty at one's core can be a clinical issue, more so if directed at women). This is all about a dispute going 1.5 decades ago over 'secure' (actually Microsoft-controlled) boot.

What next in their pipeline? Posting sensationalist claims in Mastodon and Bluesky that they hired an assassin to "take out" my wife? That there will be a "bloodbath"? Some sort of emotional dynamite or stalkers taking photos of the home where we reside, then scattering them in legal documents? They've already done this.

They've already trafficked about 75 KG of legal papers into the home. No human being can keep up with such workloads, and snowing any judge under piles of papers can be frowned upon, too. It makes it hard to keep track of the narrative and leaves the other side little time to sneak in evidence, remark, etc. It's clear they do not even bother checking what they prepare and print out, as we already caught thousands of pages containing just binary slop, not text. They are drowning the system with papers just for volume's sake.

Their goal, or so it would seem, may therefore involve time-wasting (everybody's time and resources).

In the next parts we'll explain why this behaviour poses a serious threat to national security and to the proper functioning of the British legal system. Optics and quantity-over-quality is typically an American legal stunt; now it is being exported to Europe.
