Quitting IBM and "Rumors of an Upcoming RA [Mass Layoffs] in April 2026"

Lately we've spent some time explaining and showing how IBM was keeping its layoffs silent, quiet, or generally not visible to (and in) the media. It was trying to convince if not pressure many people to leave and avoided exceeding thresholds or quotas that can wind up triggering WARN, i.e. becoming "official" (a lot of the media won't cover anything unless there's a WARN notice).
From what we can gather, both Red Hat employees (many are now classify as "IBM" and nothing else) and "old timers" of Big Blue explore their employment prospects/options elsewhere. Bluewashing at Red Hat has already killed a lot of the culture that once existed.
