Debianism election 2026 community poll created, everybody can vote

By popular demand, we now have a CIVS online poll where any member of the community can cast a vote for the person they would prefer to lead Debianism.
Voting is a powerful tool. This is one way to achieve regime change without starting World War 3.
The nomination period closed at midnight on Friday, 13th. The official Debian voting period ends at midnight on 17 April, the anniversary of a notorious death that was discussed as a copy-cat suicide.
Only one candidate nominated. At the midnight hour in her timezone on Friday the 13th,Sruthi Chandran submitted a nomination. She did not declare conflicts of interest, her husband is also a Debian Developer.
In her platform, Sruthi Chandran wants to replace the priorities of freedom with the rush for diversity, without explaining what she will really do. Based on past practice, we suspect they will expel more white men.
This CIVS poll has been created where you can vote for Sruthi Chandran, you can vote for Héctor Orón Martínez who submitted his nomination after the deadline or you can vote for Dr Norbert Preining, the only man who has been expelled twice from Debianism.

Remember, Debianists gave over $120,000 in kill money to racist Swiss lawyerists to attack my family but they didn't pay Abraham Raji anything for the work he did helping organise DebConf23. When Raji joined the other developers on the day trip, they asked him to contribute some of his own money, he was left behind to swim alone and he drowned. Yet the lawyerists were given $120,000.
The best way to encourage people to nominate for the election will be for the existing leader, Andreas Tille, to withdraw all the privacy attacks, settle the lawsuits proactively and ensure the next leader can walk in and find the desk is clean ready to work on productive things.
Don't hold your breath waiting for transparency about these attacks on my family. There is still time to watch my video and contribute to the crowdfunding campaign. █
