Fedora Maintainer-ship Using Slop (Mistakes) Would Make Fedora Less Reliable
This was yesterday:

Transparency is fine and all, but it does not change the fact that slop is slop and Rust is Microsoft GitHub (proprietary). It also lacks cross-platform support.
IBM's transition to slop paves the way for Fedora to do the same, if not by mandates from the employer, IBM (a lot of Fedora people are only loyal to IBM because they're IBM staff). Take these latest blog posts from Red Hat as an example. 100% of them are just slop promotion.
That Fedora is racing to the bottom isn't a new problem. Fedora used to attract bright engineers, now it's just a sandbox for "vibers". It won't produce reliable code or stable systems one can rely upon. █
5 days ago (there have been several more examples since; we saw a couple this week): Under IBM, Red Hat Replaces Code With LLM Slop, Fedora is Slopware
