Fedora at the Mercy of Microsoft Because of Back-Doored Kick-Switch Boot
2 months ago: Only One Person in Charge of Fedora is Not IBM Staff
He spoke yesterday (again) about restricted boot:

It was Red Hat that originally helped Microsoft bring the abomination (restricted boot) to Linux and Torvalds rightly resisted this [1, 2]. This is a matter of historical record.
Those Americans who attacked Torvalds for resisting this are still red-faced and still attack me, personally (I also receive anonymous threats from burner accounts). They don't want users to have real security, they want them to enable "controlled by Microsoft". This isn't about security any more than "age verification" is about protecting children.
We'll soon revisit the defamation attacks on Torvalds (for daring to want real security, not remote control by Microsoft sold or disguised as "security"). █
