Cisco Systems is a Still Weak Spot With Bug Doors
1.5 years ago we wrote about the considerable and fast-growing debt of Cisco Systems Inc. The company's debt stands at 31.74 billion dollars this year and it has nothing to offer except storytelling about "ai" and "agents" or "agentic" or whatever. The company's debt more than trebled in one year and the company seems unable to pay it back.
Cisco, however, represents US interests because of back doors or bug doors (in effect the same but the latter gets advertised as a mere accident).

About a decade earlier Wikileaks publications "described how the Central Intelligence Agency had learned more than a year ago how to exploit flaws in Cisco’s widely used Internet switches, which direct electronic traffic, to enable eavesdropping."
As another report put it, "security engineers at Cisco Systems swung into action."
More than a year late.
No nation that cannot trust the US government can afford to have any Cisco equipment anywhere. █
