After 40 years and 6 months, I had my last day as an IBM on March 31, 2026. I have chosen to retire because I think it was time to have a little more free time for other activities

IBM is going to have mass layoffs this month, just like last month and two months ago (the media "missed" these stories). From what we can gather, the bluewashing is still happening at Red Hat and some Red Hat staff members have their "last day".

The tragedy at IBM started 33 years ago on the first of April.

Louis Gerstner, the former CEO and chairman of IBM, died on Saturday, aged 83.

Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. is chairman of the IBM Board of Directors, the position he retained following his retirement on March 1, 2002 as IBM Chief Executive Officer. Mr, Gerstner was named chairman and CEO of IBM on April 1, 1993
