Lots of Layoffs at IBM, "Media Blackout" About Mass Layoffs at IBM's HashiCorp and Confluent Last Month

Yesterday we spotted many. These are from recent hours (in a 1-hour timeframe):

Last day of work for this gal. Been over 42 years with IBM and it has been a fun ride. The engineers here have been finest kind and I’ll miss the interactions and camaraderie. Now is the time to focus on family and friends.

Notice HashiCorp in there; the media never mentioned that.

It's April already. In two weeks' time the SRA will be grilled over "recent regulatory failures..."

Then, in May, Microsoft will be investigated in the UK. Today we'll do no satirical posts and instead focus on the rumoured mass layoffs at IBM (there are "forever layoffs" there, but sometimes these intensify).

Also expect Red Hat layoffs (their staff is being reassigned today).

IBM is a dying company circling down the drain while manipulating or paying the media to pretend everything is fine. Can IBM fool disgruntled workers? No. █

Oracle announced 18% worldwide layoffs today (29k heads). This does not bode well for blue as they usually play follow the leader
