Linux Foundation Profits From Scams, Fraud, and Grifting
Don't be misled by the name "Linux Foundation"
The Linux Foundation (LF) is a front group for companies that don't agree with GNU/Linux. They want to change what the word "Linux" means in order to sell their proprietary stuff. In more recent years - and especially months - it got worse as LF became also a front group for much worse entities - even worse than Enron. Torvalds is no longer in 10 top (for salary) at LF; because LF gravitates towards scams and works with the likes of Clickfraud Spamnil to assist with marketing of those scams. Put succinctly, you probably do not want to ever associate with LF anything; it's toxic and it gets worse fast.
And since we spoke of the Independence Drive the other day (trying to get away from LF money) we should probably note that LWN is connected to LF through its chief and LF is a front group for Microsoft et al. It means LWN is subservient to American monopolies, not communities, and is to be treated accordingly. It's not just LWN and their shilling of slop will lose them audience once the bubble implodes entirely.

Microsoft knew this all along but kept quiet about it. Now the cat is out of the bag. LF is too busy doing bad things (inflating a pyramid scheme) and it will be left holding the bag.
How quickly did LF transition from "org that pays Linus his salary" to "advertiser/marketer of scammers and perverts"? █
