It's going to get a lot harder to justify wasting energy on slop, which is notoriously energy-hungry because of GPUs and problems of scale (lots needed to produce so little).
The economics of slop were already unconvincing in 2022. Slop was mostly good at amassing losses and accruing debt. Imagine their power bills tripling. It can vastly accelerate this bubble's implosion. █
