IBM Agrees With Microsoft That Slop is Just for "Entertainment" and "at Your Own Risk"
So what can IBM sell now? Chips or computers that don't even exist yet?
Nickle LaMoreaux, IBM’s CHRO, was mentioned here before (e.g. last month and the prior month) because IBM insiders seem to be very allergic to the nepotism, dishonesty, gaslighting, and buzzwords.
5 hours ago Jen Colletta published this puff piece about slop:

The body is even more shallow than the headline and it indicates that IBM hasn't much material stuff to sell, only fancy branding ("IBM") on dysfunctional or resold things. There are meanwhile more signs that this year's IBM layoffs at HashiCorp (the media didn't report those) were quite big:

Judging by 4 threads that we saw today in thelayoff.com, insiders have a negative view of the company and expect it to crash and burn for the benefit of very few people. As one person has just put it, "Gerstner stole over $400,000,000+. Palmisano juiced his to over $270,000,000. Rometti over $140,000,000. They know no shame. IBM BOD board of directors are THE WORST in the history of corporate America."
People who can find work outside IBM typically go away, beating IBM to it (RAs). The company will announce "results" just over a week from now, so more RAs are expected some time before then. █
