Next Week the Star of the "EPO Reality TV Show" Will Likely be Absent (Absconding the Tough Reality of Widespread Unrest)

EPO Reality TV Show: What's My Line? (Free to use.)

When it comes to EPO strikes, which the media ignores entirely, staff has taken it up another notch [1, 2, 3] and the president who hid cocaine is still sort of "in hiding". He hardly wants to be seen or speak to anybody; but his hideout is a membrane away. Now the Central Staff Committee wants to speak to him directly, seeing that he keeps sending proxies to face them.

This is what was circulated among staff yesterday:

Dear Colleagues,

The salary adjustment procedure is on the agenda of the General Consultative Committee (GCC) meeting of 23 April 2026. The content of the document is of utmost impact on EPO staff, pensioners and their families. In addition, industrial actions against the salary erosion are on-going and are the strongest since the beginning of the presidency of Mr Campinos.

Until now, Mr Campinos neither addressed staff nor their representatives in any meeting on the topic.

The staff representation is aware that the President has the power to delegate the function of Chair of the GCC. Mr Campinos has exercised this right for an uninterrupted period of more than 3 years.

In this open letter, the Central Staff Committee (CSC) requests his personal attendance in the next GCC meeting.

Sincerely yours,

The Central Staff Committee

Based on the open letter, his evasive behaviour is part of a longstanding pattern:

OPEN LETTER

Attendance in the GCC meeting on the salary adjustment procedure

Dear Mr President,

The salary adjustment procedure is on the agenda of the General Consultative Committee (GCC) meeting of 23 April 2026. The content of the document is of utmost impact on EPO staff, pensioners and their families. In addition, industrial actions against the salary erosion are on-going and are the strongest since the beginning of your presidency.

Until now, you neither addressed staff nor their representatives in any meeting on the topic.

We are aware that you have the power to delegate the function of Chair of the GCC. You have exercised this right for an uninterrupted period of more than 3 years1.

We hereby request your personal attendance in the next GCC meeting.

Sincerely yours,

Derek Kelly
Chairman of the Central Staff Committee

It seems unlikely that this crook will bother responding. He seems to have deluded himself into the condition wherein he's the victim rather than the cause of the current chaos. His "Alicante Mafia" (stealing from the cookie jar of the Office) brought crime and disrepute to Europe's second-largest institution. So his dad must turn in his grave this year. He tarnishes the legacy of that surname and the country's image by spouting out lies and hurling abusive insults (lots of the "f word") at staff.
