Apple's Last Leader Died After He Had Been Sacked by Apple
Cult-like worship leads to dictatorships, not redemption from dictatorships

Apple is deep in debt and has long had this problem. Its latest and greatest products aren't selling. Slop won't save Apple, it'll only deepen the debt.
That Tim Crook is leaving should surprise nobody. Rumours about this has floated or circulated for months already and his Cheeto fawning upset some of the most "hardcore" Apple "fanbois". Then there are the layoffs, which made Apple a less attractive employer. Many managers and executives left.
Apple's main success story was the turnaround 2 decades ago. It not only survived; it managed to resurface as a big player after many years of stagnation.
The current economic conditions don't favour Apple. Hungry people won't prioritise "i" things. There are also not enough rich people to keep Apple afloat and rich; Apple has long relied on people who pretended to be rich for bragging rights (by overpaying for gadgets).
Luxury cars and various other so-called 'luxury' goods face a different reality. Apple is positioned to deliver marketing, not much else.
Changing the CEO won't change anything substantial. After so many people left (top executives) there will be a retention issue and a morale issue.
People who don't want Microsoft should turn to Free software, not Apple, which can be seen as "another Microsoft". Both Apple and Microsoft support the same dictatorships. █
