IBM has had many mass layoffs this year (the media ignored/overlooked these). There are also rumours about the CEO leaving.
Since a lot of the media basically collapsed or turned to slopfarming, we don't expect to see much analytical journalism about what IBM will say tonight. IBM controls the media using money. It shapes the narrative while cooking the books. █
