Microsoft's XBox Exodus Carries on: Corporate VP of Gaming Ecosystem Organization and Corporate VP of XBox Devices and Ecosystem Both Leave Microsoft
As per hours ago (the authors have the original internal memo; at Microsoft, in order to reduce panic, they try hard to put some lipstick or positive spin on it by promoting people):

Months ago not two but many more managers left XBox (Microsoft). The media focused on only two of them. We wrote a great deal about this throughout the year. The media likes to look away from anything other than a late Friday self-serving face-saving press release from Microsoft.
XBox is having layoffs disguised as "buyouts" in the US.
There's meanwhile an unverified claim about IBM Consulting, published some short while ago (the rest of the thread is contaminated with one troll's noise):

"In the US," it says, "there are some layoffs coming in IBM Consulting since they are falling behind on their results" (that's just hearsay for now).
IBM has no lack of problems; 'empty suit' Arvind Krishna pays siliconangle.com for mindless puff pieces about buzzwords (the latest headline is "AI-first enterprises, hybrid as default, quantum moves from science to engineering" - attributed to him). All-in-one catchphrases malarkey. IBM spends a lot of the money it has buying glowing puff pieces about a dying company - same thing Microsoft has done for decades.
Don't expect what's left of the media to properly report the true scale of the XBox cuts and executive-level departures (at best, those are relegated to footnotes). █
