The real news today isn't some tweets from Microsoft (stenography, not the first one today!): Microsoft's XBox Exodus Carries on: Corporate VP of Gaming Ecosystem Organization and Corporate VP of XBox Devices and Ecosystem Both Leave Microsoft

It's game over for Xbox (the console), not "game over for Copilot on Xbox":

Microsoft apparently uses many distractions today and the Microsoft-sponsored (and Microsoft-led) The Register MS plays along by turning "tweets" (posted to a child pornography site, X.com) into "articles".

Don't lose sight of the real - as in actually meaningful - news (which they are eager to distract from). It's not that slop or microslop has no future on XBox; it's that XBox does not have a future and they already try to rebrand Vista 11 as "XBox" and vice versa. █
