The Register MS is All About MS After the Site Overhaul, Now They Are a Platform of "Microsoft Says"
Hours ago: Gartner Group Paid The Register MS. And Now The Register MS is a "Gartner Says" Rag.
The Register MS seems to have migrated (some time earlier today) from their Perl-based workflow to something else (or enhanced it), but they have hidden "Generator", so it's hard to tell. This is what the site looks like now:

Only two brands. Why? And where's a British company?
Months ago the chief at The Register MS went to work for Google (US) and was then replaced by a longtime Microsofter. It already looked worrying enough. Earlier on they helped publish revisionism for Microsoft, citing some story about the mother of Bill Epsteingate.
It wasn't journalism, it was just "Chen says" (Chen from Microsoft). So this entire "Report" is just a repost (editorialised somewhat) of social control media quips from an old Microsofter. No second source. Nothing. They rewrite history for sponsors.
Microsoft says. Hence, it must be true!
"In other words," an associate has noted, "The Reg is peddling Microsoft spam."
They did the same (revisionism, lying about Microsoft's past) in 2025. We wrote rebuttals. They tried to censor comments that pointed out their errors. Microsoft can later assign its "PR teams" to edit Wikipedia with shiny new "references" linking to the false history. █
