Outgoing OSI Chief Was Paid by Microsoft to Advocate for GPL Violations (Using the OSI's Name). Now, Inside OIN, He Says GPL Violations Are 'Freedom'.
Yesterday: OSI Partners With Microsoft to Help Pretend Proprietary (GitHub) 'Celebrates' Open Source
Maffulli (now in OIN) 1.5 months ago: people ignoring the licence is a win for the Four Freedoms (or users' freedom)???

Over a week ago at a GAFAM event:

Same as a year earlier:

If you received nearly a million bucks (sans tax deductions) from Microsoft/GAFAM to promote their proprietary traps and make excuses for GPL violations (or plagiarism), would that impact your worldview?
It would in the case of Stefano. It seems like only compromised people can be "allowed" to run today's OSI. Just check who funds it and what for. The past 3 if not 4 chiefs did this.
We need to remind people that OSI is a front group of Microsoft (but not only Microsoft).
Yesterday we said: "...Always remember that."
It didn't always used to be that way, an associate reminds us. We used to actually have amicable relationships with the OSI's chiefs, even frequent communications. Back then they served another agenda, not that of openwashing (i.e. misusing the brand, "Open Source"). █
