SLAPP Censorship - Part 76 Out of 200: The Problem With the United Kingdom Allowing Americans to File Lawsuits by Proxy (Relayed by "Hired Guns")
posted by Roy Schestowitz on May 14, 2026
2023: Solicitors in UK warned not to act as ‘hired guns’ to silence critics of super-rich

This cost an innocent investigative journalist over $100,000 in legal bills: (the war criminal would not pay those costs; he was protected by Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin)

SLAPP is not a slop app, it's clear misuse of a system unfit for purpose.
Our aim with the series is not so much to advance any personal agenda/interests. It is to advance the public interest, National Security, and of course sovereignty, as it has long been known (decades ago it was widely talked about in mainstream media) libel/slander/defamation lawsuits in the UK were means for silencing the weak due to crippling costs; the underlying law has roots in the Crown (royalty) and it's still misused by rich and powerful people to keep the population 'in check' (sedated, silent, passive, too chilled to speak out or even organise, let alone expose corruption by leaking sensitive secrets).
What happens when laws meant to guard the upper class in our country are then weaponised by warlords (or war criminals) in Russia and business oligarchies in America (including GAFAM)? Who is then served and why?
Garrett's and Graveley's million-dollar lawsuit (funded by third parties) against people who barely have assets isn't meant to attain any sort of justice; it's about bullying, which is why Garrett publicly referred to it as "funny" (like he's trolling) and later joined forces with a man from prison because he himself got sued, twice even [1, 2].
What they're doing is like trying to leverage a $3,000,000 cruise missile to eliminate some enemy's apple tree, then wondering why everything is so costly and unsustainable. It does not add up and it imports an American culture of aggression and violence into the UK [1, 2]. Brits stand to gain nothing from it. They let predators who attack many women also attack the media of another continent. Then they hide from British justice (whenever it suits them).
Consider the situation of Garrett, going on holiday for a few days in some poor country where he apparently went to get drunk (while publicly posting about other people boasting pot is legal there). If found to have engaged in contempt of court in the UK (as mentioned in the last part and sister site), he's just going to hide in America. The same goes for his litigation buddy, Graveley. Yes, even if held in contempt of court, they'd have to be extradited from the US to the UK in order to be held accountable; this means they can lie to the Court from afar - from the US (without any consequences) or come here only temporarily, game the system, lie to judges, then run away to the US and never come back. It's the same with liabilities for costs; if they're forced to pay us our costs, would they obey the orders of British courts? No. "Catch me if you can!" So such lawsuits oughtn't be permissible in the first place. They're just an abuse of the system and there's a lack of incentive/s for Brits to win such lawsuits, whose outcomes would not be carried out or would be impractical to carry out in another continent, rendering them moot (hard to execute or enforce by authorities of another country with different sets of laws). In this case, we deal with not only one American but two Americans working in tandem (even as recently as this month), as should have been crystal clear to their counsel all along (they knew!). So desperate to "win" a case, they decided to stack the docket (of another continent). To be clear, Graveley has already inadvertently admitted domestic violence. As pointed out in the fourth appendix of my counterclaim:
Appendix IV: Alex Graveley Speaks of the Garrett Case in Public Before Joining In
A. As archived from Graveley’s own site (in case he edits/removes it) https://archive.is/MUHzx#selection-105.56-105.84
To quote:
Sadly in 2022 an extreme anti-Microsoft blogger found the police report and used it to smear my name with false accusations, in order to attack my employer. In 2024 this blogger was sued for defamation by another former Microsoft researcher for publishing the same sorts of slanderous accusations.
It is difficult to talk about being a victim of domestic violence. If you are feeling stuck, you are not alone. Please reach out to the domestic violence hotline at 800-799-7233 or be candid with a friend.
B. He does not deny the violence, nor does he deny the arrest. He is just namecalling and calls out “another former Microsoft researcher”, by which he means Garrett, who was already connected to him in many ways for a very long time. Garrett habitually spoke about Graveley even before Garrett filed a lawsuit. Several years prior!
C. An outsider may deem the above a case of “saying too much”, as there is once again an implicit admission, set aside all the begging in Appendix III.
His real problem is in America, not in Britain. The same goes for Garrett, whose own spouse repeatedly publishes tweets like this in 2026:

Later on, after swearing on the Bible, Garrett admitted they had coordinated all along. He basically admitted that all of them (the law firm, barrister, Graveley, and himself) lied to at least 3 judges, repeatedly in fact. There are legal consequences for this, but Graveley and himself (his "other half", Garrett) can hide from the consequences in another continent, where third parties pay their legal bills and hired guns repeatedly send threats to my "existence" (while mentioning my wife as well). It would be ignorant to interpret these as "jokes" because of a history of violence. █
