IBM Keeps Culling Essential Linux, Fedora, GNOME, and GTK Staff
Over a month ago IBM laid off over 400 Red Hat engineers. Many of them were kernel (Linux) developers. According to a new blog post, around the same time it made cuts in Europe as well (based on the words used, the departure was involuntary). Instead, Fedora is now peddling slop for the corrupt IBM management. Actual users of Fedora loathe it. Earlier this year one GNOME/Red Hat developer publicly complained that IBM was forcing him to use slop instead of code. It's the same developer that IBM compelled to "shout" at users who disabled back-doored (controlled by Microsoft) boot. Those who opposed abandoning BIOS also got sacked.
