Not a Security Expert If You Cannot Manage to Keep Online a Simple Two-User Mastodon Instance Somebody Else Built
From uptime of ~99% to maybe 80%

Schadenfreude as a term is either an observation of some phenomenon or a word of caution about something to be avoided (dwelling on persistent if not tragic misery of others), but the person who spent 14+ years attacking me and my family is no "freund". He's no expert either. His spouse repeatedly says he can neither code nor hack, which is hardly surprising because he lacks the qualifications and he only ever got "into tech" because of money (lust for money, not a passion for computing) and it still shows. Slop "bros" aren't good at tech; they're good at fooling people.
Anyway, for the third or fourth time in a few weeks his blog died and Mastodon instance choked itself to death. Again. Downtime of about 3 days in 3 weeks. Very impressive! Seriously, what a genius this man is. When it was run by someone else (hosted and managed by a friend) it didn't have all those problems.
Truth be told, he did write some lines of code, namely and even recently advocating for "the harm that restricted boot code did to the FOSS community," as someone has put it.
Schadenfreude? Maybe. But when a self-described expert has a downtime so bad (or uptime of about 80%) people need to reexamine their confidence in self-aggrandising parades (making false claims). █
