900 Days Later
The laptop "bubi" (elephant's name, named after a place) will reach an uptime of 900 days very soon. It was last rebooted in 2023.

A lot has happened since then. A very vicious Canadian who claims to be autistic (he uses this description as an excuse, hoping for immunity) was engaging in cybercrimes of all sorts - crimes that were reported to the police here. This was also shortly after we abandoned America for hosting; we've been better off since then. The "funny" lawsuits ended up not so funny (almost a million bucks in losses); the sites publish about 20,000 pages per year (more than ever before; we started more than 19.5 years ago); our physical and mental health improved; our community grew; traffic grew, too. Tomorrow it's June already and we've begun preparing an intro for the site - an intro to appear at the front page very soon.
900 days is a very long time (almost 1,000) and a lot can change for the better in this period of time. █
