Microsoft layoffs are well overdue, especially in XBox. Insiders have said this for a long time; they know what's coming, they just don't know exactly when. The mass exodus of managers is a sign, too.
Yesterday we wrote about rumours that come from inside Microsoft, where the "buyout" offer is effective with departure on July 1st, based on leaked communications.
We've now seen 3 places where alleged insiders say 10,000 will go in July. Maybe more. Some say Wednesday, July 1st, is the "D-day".
Time will tell, but this is what the rumour mill or the word through the grapevine is. █
