The Slop 'Religion' is Dying: From Widespread (Paid-for) Hype to Widespread Hate
Widespread hate seems correct a description, at least based on this new poll/survey of Americans. They say "hey hi" (as does coverage referencing it), but they really mean slop, LLMs in particular.
We've hopefully convinced many of our readers that paid-for hype is a key element of this stupid frenzy, which piggybacks "don't be left behind" FOMO (targeting managers based on false promises of capabilities that do not exist and will never exist, knowing they can impose slop on workers retrospective of those workers preferences or correct intuition).
Wait till "sentiment" in Wall Street - not just general (public) "sentiment" - shifts strongly against slop. Wall Street will collapse soon thereafter. █
