Several Waves of Red Hat Layoffs This Year, Is This Still Going on Under IBM?

Today marks my last day at IBM after nearly ten years as a consultant. This journey has been incredible, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work

After 2.5 great years, it’s time for me to take the fedora hat off and move on.

Today is my last day at IBM iX DACH

Bluewashing for 2026 began at Red Hat on January 1^st, after more bluewashing last July. Then layoffs in China happened (400+ people, highly technical people), then the same in Eastern Europe. Some come into effect at the end of the month.

How about this month?

With more whistleblowers we'd be able to know what exactly IBM does to Red Hat. The PIPs and NDAs hard to get a clear picture. █
