IBM Layoffs Still Happening in 2026, They're Just Not Being Reported

Less than a week after a bunch of slopfarms repeated lies about vapourware to lift up IBM's stock (false marketing) we are seeing evidence that for many the end of June was end of IBM. Searching for clues in whatever little is left of "the press", there is no mention at all of PIPs - as if no such thing even exists at IBM! Instead we see puff pieces or paid narratives (IBM storytelling with buzzwords). As someone put it 4 days ago: "you got it they don’t want to see articles in NYT and WSJ saying “massive layoffs at Big Blue” - so they have gotten creative without they actually preform layoffs. IBM is also about public perception and stock price. Hence why with in days you hear about quantum big news and subnm technology etc. it’s all the hit Arvind’s promised targets. Trying to rig the game to get there!"
The demise of IBM accompanies the demise of the media. █
