Microsoft May be Losing 10,000+ Workers This Month
Here's the quick math

Some sites speak of "Microsoft’s earlier plan to lay off nearly 4% of staff" after telling about 7% (almost 10,000) of its "most expensive" American workers to leave or receive a pink slip, plus after several rounds of PIPs. Basically many people had been pushed out and "left", but Microsoft then egged on the remainder to leave or pretend to "retire" in their 40s.
Putting all those factors together, and bearing in mind the "buyouts" are in effect today (July 1), Microsoft may have lost or will soon lose about 10,000 workers (effectively in one go). Maybe more. The "official" numbers are boardroom hogwash. █
