Exposing Corruption at the European Patent Office (EPO), a Call for More Whistleblowers
With enough whistleblowers Campinos and his team won't last much longer
Campinos is already schmoozing his protectors while 'his' Office is stuck in a loop of strikes and unrest, "productivity" sank 25%
This year and last year the number of whistleblowers from the EPO peaked as far as we're concerned (it doesn't look like they trust any other publisher; Barney, for example, vanished about 7 years ago and his site went offline; his colleague Ben is still publishing, but not about patents).
Over a month ago we started a new series - "A Tale of Two Antónios" - a series we have renamed since Parts 1 to 4 because it's not longer focused on the second António (EU). Technically or at least historically, both Antónios were involved in the EU (Campinos bought his seat at EUIPO and apparently still meddles to control who runs it).
The António series will keep going for quite some time to come (at least until next year; we drown in material). We have several more series to run in tandem; some of them will cover profound antisemitism in EPO management and some will deal with cocaine use. We're hardly done with that. The media shies away, but diplomats are getting involved.
We predict that, provided enough whistleblowers speak out, António "the unready" won't even finish his current term. He will end up like Jesper Kongstad, the corrupt Dane who became a bane. █
