Increasing Output by Focusing on Originals
Recently we thought that we could or would make better use of our time by focusing on more exclusive stories each day. Lately - or as recently as last month - we identified room for further efficiencies in analysis of news and we're now revising the workflow in order to facilitate a great deal of output or higher throughput. We recognise that our more/most important contribution is producing exclusive stories, important stories, as opposed to curation or processing of links all day (relaying others' work). The latter is a mentally tiring task that can exhaust whole days.
There are current seven series running in tandem. Some of these have been set aside or paused for months already. It's probably more important to carry on with these than it is to keep abreast of non-crucial news. █
