IBM Hammers a CoI Into a CoCed Fedora, RIP Fedora?
Today: IBM is Killing the Fedora Community, Replacing It With LLM Slop From IBM Staff
Also in the "Fedora is dead" dept. today:

Why so CoI (coy), IBM? As anyone can see, this "Conflict of Interest" thing seems absurd because IBM controls Fedora and IBM staff control every seat in the Council, so that is a giant conflict of interest right there. It is barely being disclosed. As noted in comments already: "This is just ridiculous but not unexpected for IBM. How do you even define a conflict of interest for an open source project? Does a KDE Developer have a conflict of interest working on shared infrastructure with a GNOME Developer? Do the SUSE developers have a conflict of interest in shared projects because they compete with IBM? Absurd."
"Remember when Open Source was about having fun writing code as a hobby rather than a corporate hellscape locked down by HR policies? Pepperidge Farms remembers."
IBM seems to be accelerating the demise of Fedora in so many ways. Krishna (CEO) doesn't care and his slave Matt Hicks (who replaces prior slaves like Paul Cormier and Jim AllowHurst) doesn't use Fedora. Krishna is just plundering IBM's coffers (bonuses) while the company circles down the drain. █
