Today:

Xbox Series X price hiked by £170 due to rising memory chip costs

Microsoft confirms increased Xbox prices in the UK and Europe

Microsoft has increased the price of its Xbox Series consoles, and they are certifiably insane

So the consoles enter 4-digital territories ($1000) while some models get cancelled for being virtually unsellable.

GAFAM pyramid schemes (speculations with buzzwords) are increasing costs. These increases, in turn, kill some of their own products. The real ones. Not the slop.

It'll be "entertaining" to see Microsoft's "entertainment" division going up in flames due to the company's reckless speculations with LLMs - something that LinkedIn already seems to regret (it's driving away real users and usage; LLMs destroy almost anything they touch). █
