Start of September 2026 'Voluntary' Mass Layoffs at IBM, Start of October Red Hat Employees Forced Into the 'Bloodbath' (After Collapse of IBM's Shares)
No matter how hard IBM tries to game Wall Street (to the point of lying time after time to shareholders; they still do this!) this is not working anymore and silent layoffs go on and on... while jobs move abroad (aka "cost savings"). The attrition is bad and debt grows. Loyalty is diminished.
So at the beginning of October Red Hat is in trouble as its identity wears off. A month earlier IBM wants people to enrol for 'voluntary' layoffs. What will happen to Z? Who else?
