Is the Future of IBM Red Hat Temporary Staff, Contractors?
Also last night/yesterday, low-paid and unpaid labour:
IBM and Red Hat tell us not to use words like "master" and "slave". Maybe they're language-policing to suppress critics.
Right now it's reported that in order to hide mass layoffs IBM is culling "contractors" - the same loophole Microsoft used some days earlier.
They don't care about computer security. They don't care about job security, either.
They want cheap, obedient lemmings. Scabs.
Work, then get out. No explanation, no reason, no severance. Not even WARN notices.
They bypass the intention of labour laws. They circumvent the purpose. █
