For Second Year in a Row Software Freedom Conservancy (SFC) Loses Money (Over $3,000,000 Lost in 2 Years), Bradley M Kuhn Steps Down as Treasurer
According to its official records, for the latest year on record, it lost almost $600,000 last year, so its chief (the FOSS millionaire mentioned this morning) took another salary increase/hike.
What else can one say about SFC?
That it is opportunistic?
That it rakes in money at the expense of or on the backs of unpaid volunteers?
That is likes censorship?
And cancel culture?
That it names itself to mislead people, wrongly thinking it was the SFLC (which sued it for trademark infringement)?
With liabilities growing to over a million dollars, and with salaries growing at a faster rate than US inflation, one can get the idea that people "fall upwards" at the SFC.
So who will be the treasurer going forward? █
